Video Library and Archive

The Urgyen Sangharakshita Trust runs the Triratna Video Library and Archive

The video archive consists largely of all the material shot by Clear Vision/Vajra Films from 1984 onwards. In addition there is material sent by FWBO/Triratna institutions and individuals from around the world. The formats include: 16mm film; Super 8 film; VHS; Super VHS; VHS/C; video-8; Hi-8; U-matic; Betacam SP; DVCam; DVPro; mini DV; CD; audio cassette; VCD; SD cards; hard drives.

The Trust is helping to ensure that all archive material video and film relevant to Urgyen Sangharakshita is collected, catalogued and preserved in order to safeguard this unique visual record and provide an accessible resource.

It is a costly project and we are delighted to have the Future Dharma Fund as financial partner, so that together we can complete the next stage of this precious legacy project.

Once this work is done the new Video Archive will offer as complete a collection as possible of Sangharakshita. An offline video viewing facility will be set up in the Sangharakshita Library to enable visitors to access all the recorded material. An online Video Library offering highlights from the archive can now be found at www.triratnavideolibrary.org.
