Connections with the USA

Even whilst living in Kalimpong, India, Sangharakshita developed connections with the United States of America, both literary and Buddhist. Over later decades he made several trips to the USA. In this video blog Manjuvajra explores that history and uncovers Sangharakshita's connections to the Beat poetry movement and the leading Buddhist teachers and writers in the USA. Apart from his literary appreciation, as he travelled to support the growing Triratna movement he also enjoyed taking photographs of the stunning landscapes and wildlife.
